Cancellations/Refunds
Cancellations must be received via email (please reference Geo-Congress 2023) by March 1, 2023. A $100 processing fee will be deducted from all refunds.

Child Care Grant
The G-I will offer grants of up to $250 USD to help members with dependent children attend Geo-Congress 2023.
Grant applications must be submitted prior to midnight Eastern time on February 3, 2023.
The reimbursement form and submission email will be sent to applicants on March 26-29, 2023.
Reimbursements will be distributed by April 22, 2023 - following Geo-Congress 2023.
Grant Eligibility and Terms
- Grant recipients must be G-I members and must have attended Geo-Congress 2023
- Only one parent of a child or children may apply for a grant
- Grants will be awarded to help defray the costs of child care provided at the conference location.
Examples of eligible expenses include
- Fees for babysitters on-site at the conference location
- Airfare/hotel costs for a caregiver to travel to the conference location
Examples of ineligible expenses include
- Child care provided in the member’s hometown
- Tickets to attractions
